This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

A handful of my old nameflipper.com domains have received offers from end-users over the past several weeks. The following sales resulted:

* Personal / Cooling () com - $995 [caught @ Pool.com f/ mid-$XX] (Sedo - in progress)
* Copper / Green () com - $495 [caught @ GoDaddy for $8.99] (GD premium listing)
* Weaver / Group () com - $450 [picked up @ TDNAM f/ $12.70] (Sedo - in progress)
* Urban / Edibles () com - $425 [caught @ GoDaddy for $8.99] (Sedo)
* Thousand / Suns () com - $375 [caught @ GoDaddy for $8.99] (Sedo)
* Carrot / Media () com - $375 [caught @ GoDaddy for $8.99] (Sedo)

So in the past 3 weeks $115 has turned into $3115 without me having sent a single e-mail. Pretty content with that.

BAP / Consulting () com - $100

My first end user sale in over a year. Got it for $13 at GD after coupon discount. Not as high as others. But still, I'm happy with this sale.

Breathe / - / Easy (dot) com - $795. A mid $xx pickup.

Strangely, GoDaddy sent me no notification whatsoever that this domain had solid via their premium listings. I just happened to check my premium listings to disable one of them and noticed this one newly listed as "Sold". The domain's Last Updated date reads August 28th, so this is when the end-user must have purchased it.

Also my first hyphenated domain sale to an end-user. I generally don't care much for hyphenated names but will start keeping a closer eye on them if I achieve another sale like this one.

I have just had a similar situation last week with Godaddy and Taste/Of/Chocolate//com which also sold via Premium Listings, for $888 (picked up about 30 days earlier for low $xx) and only found out yesterday it was sold when DomainTools advised me of the change of registrant.

All these reports of no notification from GoDaddy on a premium domain sale is really, really irritating (and possibly even quite damaging). What if in the meantime you accepted a Sedo offer, not realizing it had sold at GD? That could really open you up to some liability.
