Whole site needs upgraded - Start with logo $30

I have decided it is time for me to upgrade my website. I am not sure if I can hold a competition for the redesign of the whole site or not so I will start with the logo!

My site is called www.supermums.co.uk and is used to drive people towards a nanny agency. I decided a while ago to give the business a “cartoony” feel with a friendly and colourful atmosphere. You can use any image found on the website and incorperate it in to the logo and the font I had in mind and used originally (Which does not work on the website) was a font called “Girls are weird” which can be downloaded from the following link:

With regards to the font I used the first “u” in Super coloured pastel pink and the first “u” in Mums coloured in pastel blue.

Please note that the images suggested and the old font are just to give you some ideas of where I was going, Please use your iagination and get creative!

I will give feedback on any logos posted and I hope we will have some fun here!

If I am allowed to run a competition to totally redesign the website please let me know – or if you are interested in taking the job on please get in touch.

Super Moms Logo

Artimesia, I really like the logo that you sent me via PM. It looks really good in the context of the website that you submitted it with. Not 100% sure about the font - but excellent entry. Feel free to try to improve it.

I like your experimentation, but I am not so keen on these logos - sorry. I am going to post the top 5 entries so far so please have a look at them and pick up some hints. I hope you have another go!

I like these. I think I like the second more than the first - but had the first been "neater" then I may have liked that more. Good solid entries.

I simply made it
It can be much modified using strokes, filter effects, shadows, emboss and glow effects and much much more of adobe photoshop
I will resubmit my designs within a day

I think that your designs are quite fresh but I am unsure about the font. I think that it is a little too "Disney" and I need a more corporate feel. If you read some of the comments that I have given to others I'm sure that you can come up with a superb entry!

I Really like these three. The second and third really stand out and I like your ideas. I don't think that the little girl should be included standing on top of the font though - I like the thought but I have to maintain a more "responsable" feel. I really like the "Super Mum" being framed like in your third logo. No one has thought of this yet and I think it looks great! The colour of the font (Green) in the third one puts me off a little but I know that if you read through my posts you will come up with some more imaginative entries. Good Luck!

I think your logo shows a lot of promise. I don't like the little boy falling off the end! I have to try to show that the comany will take care of the parents children - not drop them to their death! Apart from that it is a strong entry - Maybe a font and colour change but as I have said before - please check out advice I have given to others and try again. I'm sure that if you do you will not be too far off the mark.

I will post a revised top 5 before the weekend.
