Which software to create animated images?

It depends on what type of movies..avi's or wmv's etc. I think i usually use banner shop creator 5 or jasc....maybe you should check em both out. also image ready lets you convert movie clips to gifs too but i havent figured out how yet..lol

i use jask animation shop 3 for gifs, but i use Flash for most of my general animations, but sadly photoshop doesn't upload the format

I use AVI to GIF. Thats what it's called!

Yeah i've heard about people making them in ps cs..but still ive never messed with video conversion on there so i couldnt tell him how easy it would be.

Simple animations can be done in ImageReady. But more complex should be done in Flash MX.

i have never used image ready but i find flash quite easy to use if you get the jist of it

GIF can be very good but they can take ages to load depending the size.

im not sure, havn't worked with GIF's in ages but i find flash is the best for me as it can hold at and is immediate
