Forum signatures are very useful. The anchor text pointed to a page is a positive thing. If you have multiple accounts to different forums, you should change your anchor text (just not use the same nchor because you can be detected as spammer).

Search engine bots will see them and crawl your site. They might not help a ton with search engine rankings but every little bit helps. Also random people will just click on them.

You know many SEO professionals consider links from forum signatures not very valuable for search engines. They say that SE bots can distinguish signature links from other types of links.
BUT for the moment I see that they continue to work and bring real traffic both from direct clicks and search engines. I don't know if the situation continues but today it's an affordable way to get backlinks.

Forum signatures links are good back links for your websites .you can easily add it in your signature and do regular postings by doing this back links of your websites increased.

Where ever your link appear,it's the overall page content effect the link juice,if you link appear on the page that full of relevant keyword it does help but Hey,putting too many links together without any text within the link might categorized as a link farm.Beware and be natural when building link.

Personally I believe that having your signature link on a forum that has a higher PR value than your site helps with indexing!

and having your signature in a high traffic (lots of active members) forum help with the getting members and guest traffic!

yes they have alot of values, you get traffic when people click and if its dofollow your keywords will rank higher.

Yes, it helps if you make posts at do-follow forums. Also if posts made at topic related forums they can provide high ammounts of targeted traffic to your website as well.

I find forum signatures very useful in two terms,
- letting customers know you are available at their service.
- branding your website

somewhere on very popular blog, I posted a comment in response to an article and I noticed my webhosting website received 42 unique visitors in single day! that was mind blowing.

Forum signatures are counted. I have some websites got top rank solely from forum signature links. If you check your backlinks you can easily see forum links.

i have tested forum signatures in digitalpoint forums, i am sure many know about that forums. the response i got was great but limited too. i think you understand what i mean

Signature helps in two way one helps in bringing traffic 2nd their link is count as back link..
