Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

These makes these domains worth no more than simply 4 letters. LOHB is an ordinary LLLL.com domain with four premium letters. Such domains go for around 400-500$. Everything that's less than 400 can be considered as a steal. In our case LOHB is a good quad-premium that could go for 500-550$ IMHO. And this is not that it's a "pronouncable" but because of letter O in the middle which makes possible acronyms like L of HB - e.g. substitution of LHB.com if company has "of" in a proper place. Anyway, 450-550$ is a quite realistic price as for today - it's a strong buy but not a steal IMHO. And all these "Letters Of Heavenly Beauty" and other silly decipherings are not worth much.
sorry Ergo! I was just being silly!

I was thinking LOHB.com was ordinary at $450 not particulary a bargain even for sedo's usualy higher prices

oalo.com I don't know about egold, but western union is the number one choice for scammers world wide, but I guess paypal is too now with domains, but western union was the original scammers delight

ahhhhhhhhhh now I have clear what is going on....I am 99.9 % sure of what these leechs are doing:

I smell something very very fishy here.

In the first days of February I had 3 LLLL.com listed for sale at TDNAM (first time I used TDNAM as seller) and they were bought all within minutes from someone in Lithuania.

TDNAM reversed the transaction and banned the buyer because of fraud.

I listed them again and same story with another buyer from Lithuania.

After 3 weeks I got my domains back.

I am aware of other people transferring out their domains but not recovering because the names left GoDaddy so these scammers bought names and then chargebacked TDNAM, so basically got LLLL.com for free, then they go around selling at lower prices to cash in quickly (sort of money laundering).

I`m not saying this is the case, but If I was you , I`d ask where the name is coming from and double check with an email to the past owner.

He was selling a bunch of names earlier including DIBW.com

so you may ask to this guy if he was scammed or not:

yes but if we have people believing his stories when he does such clear mistakes, what does happen when scammers are smarter?

I really can`t justify this to happen after all warnings, it`s like that domainers need a security course here.

although DNP stated "sold" in that thread i really doubt he would send money through western union without double-checking both name and owner; besides $70 for OALO.com D-: is something so unusual that people would post (this happened) saying it was a steal, bargain, bla, bla, bla whereas other people were searching for details to confirm it was legit or not

that scammer is an amateur; that was easy not be caught!!!

Scam free domains in my sig ;)

Its a shame how these scammers are targeting 4Ls though.

Seems its because they're extremely liquid.

thanks for the tip :)
they are doing this because of its liquidity and also its value; they are 450,000+ it is more difficult to keep everybody aware of what is going on (how many scammers are actingright now?) and they also can be sold for low, mid, high $xxx or even $x,xxx and people will pay using paypal which brings scammers to this niche

what would happen if a LLL were scammed?
everybody would know this happened and which was scammed

I sold VQQO.com for $92 on eBay & XWUB.COM for $82, the same. The buyer for my ZKLI.com was a dead-beat noob and refused to pay. I'm looking for $80 on a Second-Chance offer. Beware of this eBay user: http://myworld.ebay.com/renatafik
