[REQ-LOGO] Drug Addiction Site {$25}

Arjun: I didn't really like the colors and I am really looking for something unique, not just some pics of pills thrown into the logo!

umxca: I don't know why but your logo is throwing me off, it seems like it's giving me an immature impression. I also am not sure whether or not I like the concept or the color scheme. I see where you're going but it needs to be bolder, look professional, and really stress out that there's a bump! This is a very difficult time for people who are addicted to drugs.

apasay: I like it but I don't. It seems like the pills are being thrown up in the air (giving up is good but it seems like a graduation ceremony). Maybe it's the font or color scheme throwing it off. I like the idea but something just isn't giving a serious impression with it.

thetruman: The logo is "too fun" to me. I also don't understand why the 3 is above the letters, and why there are eggs in the logo?

J-Man: I just don't see how your entry is anything I"m looking for. I'm looking for something that will relate to drugs and addiction.

Darbs: I like your entry but it's way too plain. Also it doesn't seem like a bump your entry is showing more-over a wave...or group of humps. I don't think the font goes well too..

Xavier: I like your entry but I'm not too sure of the font. Also maybe if you threw some pills in there it would be better. Don't like the slogan added (I didn't state any slogan).

Sammy: I like where you're going but I don't see why there's a rain drop in the "u"!

Alright guys, keep the entries coming! I'm not trying to be picky but please understand that this logo really has to represent a tone with the feelings of addiction, help, helplessness, worry, tiresome, and of course drugs. There's a bump people will have to go through and it won't be easy. The logo shouldn't be by any means "fun".

thx for the FB...maybe your original brief should be altered a bit as myself and a few of the other designers may have interpreted it wrong:

"Maybe the logo can feature some cartoony images of pills or something?"

Thanks for the feedback,it is actually an arrow pointing up, representing going in the right direction, that sort of thing. Let me know how I can improve my concept.

Thought id give this one a go, something fairly simple... the pills are made by hand and the watermark on the pill above the U will be removed should you pick my design.

As there are more than 4 entries by 4 different people the contest cannot be extended, and as the closing date was June 12th it's now over, so now we just wait to see who wins :D

My entry was an abstract face with crossed eyes and wild hair (representing a hangover, addiction, being drugged out, etc.)

As far as the recovery, I tried to represent that with the uneven letters and underline (to represent a bump).

just thought I'd let you know hehe

This contest is over. Extreme apologies for the delay with this. Will be picking out a winner over the next three days.
Had to move out of my current house immediately which has caused the delay. Moving takes a while, computer is still at this house so I will be returning to decide the winner.
