I Need Opinions, Thoughts on my 1st Banner, Possibly Remake Next Month after Rotation

A Scam Scheme to what, I don't understand how?
What Suggestions or thoughts do you have then to attract the type of people i'm looking to attract then? Is it the Big Dollar Signs?

:imho: it's too wordy, can you show one product image there and minimize the words? including the url for me is fine.

I wanted to try to let Dealers and Vendors know about the site.

Theres not a lot of sites like mine so i was trying to attact the dealers and vendors and not the everyday customers or people looking to buy stuff if that makes any since.

I'm wanting Dealers and Vendors to add their products to my site.
How am i saying that if i just have my URL there?

I know theres something wrong with this Banner and that this Banner just is'nt the right Banner for my site.

The trick is finding the right words and not saying to much and at the same time not saying to little but being able to get the point across to the right people.

Maybe i need it to say something like,...

"The Right Place For RC Dealers & Vendors To Be."

Please,...

Any Suggestions and Thoughts would be very much Appreciated.

I don't understand why i'm not too many people are willing to help me out,... Is it because I'm still a Newbie? I do appreciate all the help that i have received.

i think with that amount of words you have there, you need to have it at least sized at 728x90 then try to do something with the text

The size of the banner is the required by the Forums that I have them currently being hosted on. Actually one of them actually requires the banner to be 450x110. The Banner above is 450x100 so this is what i have to work with ATM.

Does this make more since to you now? Do you understand where I'm coming from better?

It's not that easy to make a banner in such weird dimensions but this is what i have to work with so i'm asking for help from people who understand these sorts of things much more than I do, So please,... Has anyone Seen my website and the type of site that it is and what I offer? I don't sell anything, I only offer a free service to my visitors to help them to try and find what they are looking for faster in the line of RC Products.

Could someone or would someone be willing to possibly help me come up with some ideas i might be able to use to put a banner together to help attract RC Dealers and Vendors?

I couldnt even tell you how many Dealers and Vendors i've emailed going thur Google and Yahoo.

I just don't understand why they wouldnt want to list their Item.

I don't know if they might be affraid of being seen that someone else is selling something else cheaper than they are or what. I always thought that It came down to customer service. If you offer great customer service. Your customers are going to be there. If you offer Low Prices and Crappy Customer Service, Thats why we have a Ratings Features. Maybe they're affraid of that,.. Who know.

Even if they only listed a few items, just to get the extra Customer Traffic to their would be better than nothing i would think. IDK!

Those are nice banners of course. I see those up top all the time here but i'm sure that if they were told to make them in a 450x100or110 size they would look a lot different wouldnt you think?

If i could put everything on one single sized long banner i could probably put everything i have said on that also.

My Problem is,... I believe that my Whole Working is wrong on the 1st page of the banner and I still don't understand by what Xavier_3D was saying by when he said that he thought it sounded like a Scam Scheme He hasnt returned to revoice his opinion on that.

Wording Is The Key...
I think i need to shorten my banner and get rid of the animation.

And with the Lack of Skill that I have of not being able to put Drawings of Backgrounds and Inserts and Suchs I think i just might have to do that.

The bad thing about this whole thing is FUNDS. I just Spends a lot of money renovating that website of mine all for something that I make no money on.

I'm looking towards the Future tho and hoping that something might come my way late on.

How much do you know about Banner Creation and the Cost of Banner Creation?

What would be the about the Ave Cost? Could I even get anything for,.. Say,.. $20,.. $30 Dollars?

I'll look in to those threads and see what i can come up with and see if i can get a better design for the price i'm willing to pay.

I applaud your astute recognition ..... If you have the interest I would suggest you view some of Weblords posts. Go to his profile page and click on the link provided to see all his posts. His advice is usually dead on and you can trust is motive.

There are many quality members here at NPs that will help other members. Weblord is one of them. The design and contest forums, "he" suggested and linked for you, are a great place start.

As to the banner.

A nice clean crisp clear banner with an accent of animation. Nothing over whelming and distracting. You have too much going on here. Less is more ..... Use the same color scheme as your site.
