It will probably display well on a mobile phone.
Your mobi.readiness score is calculated from the results displayed below. Failing tests and large page sizes both lower the score. Read through the report to understand how to improve your score - and your site.

mTLD, I believe, requires a score of 5 for compliance purposes ... :gl: :imho:
Please advise.

Wrong. Basic compliance is:Jeff said:mTLD, I believe, requires a score of 5 for compliance purposes ...
scandiman said:Wrong. Basic compliance is:
-No frames
-No www required
-XHTML Mobile profile 1.0 or later
Jeff said:Righto, that is the basic compliance ... hopefully they will come here soon to further clarify on the Ready.mobi score and coding requirements expectations, as well as standards (or levels of discretion) as to which "sites" are taken down and which remain up and "in good standing" IMHO. :gl:

maybe it's your phone, because it works on mine! And quite well too.allnicksgone said:The site works on emulators, but is useless where it counts, my actual phone.
I don't know ... mtld is a joke, basic compliance is a joke, their rfp is a joke, their whole marketing strategies are a joke.... Weird.., why some just keep wasting their time and energy complaining and ridiculing about something they just don't like, or believe in their abilities to make happen, but keep buying their products and saying they are a supporter of that product. And should that product become successful in the big marketplace, will come a proudly touting how they were an early supporter of it all along.Reece said:Agreed. "Basic compliance" is an absolute joke...

You should send an email to Laura Bly, USA TODAY™! :imho:
If you Google her, she's all over the place ... :talk:

You don't think it's that deep? Really Jeff, what's it going to take for you to understand that major corps are choosing to brand their mobile sites with the .mobi extension?Jeff said:At this point, I don't think it's that deep IMHO ... Zagat, like many of the companies reported here in this space, is keeping their options open with the delivery of their service / product to folks that are "on the go". Zagat has always been ahead of the curve in this respect, this is just another angle ... I'd be curious of the SPECIFICS and relationship between Zagat and mTLD (and Visa) and how, and for how long, they came to incorportate the .MOBI as part of this delivery! :gl: :imho:
I'm sure there is more than this small blurp on USA Today™ ... :talk:
Exactly.
Just my two sense.

I sent zagat an e-mail describing my trouble.
I am glad to hear it works on other phones. I hope it is only a small minority that have trouble.
Really Jeff, what's it going to take for you to understand that major corps are choosing to brand their mobile sites with the .mobi extension?
seanboy said:The made a .mobi site. They've promoted it on their site. It got some press on ABC and USA Today, and the site works fine. On to the next topic please. You can continue your spin there.
