webecri said:I did not saw this earlier on another site. I was searching for
"inurl: google.mobi" (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=inurl:google.mobi&btnG=Search)
this was one of the 9 results
I was not afraid and I will not be afraid anymore. Google will DEFINITELY use the mobi domain. Im 100% sure. Its a matter of time...
HasRob said:I have a feeling theres going to be alot of very disappointed investors who didnt sell their .mobi names yet and who have bought many, many .mobis. They are going to take a huge lose when these companies who were supposed to be backing this extension use m.whatever.com or www.google.com/mobile etc as they are now. And with the newer phones coming out are capable of viewing .com, its all over for .mobi
Even the smaller screened cell phones are getting phazed out for t-mobile dash, blackberry's, palm treos etc. I wont even bring up the iphone and others similar to it. This will get ugly I believe in due time for .mobi lovers. Sadly, the fact is they are becoming harder to sell to. Call it a bubble burst or slow down or whatever, I think theres a bigger reason behind it. People are wising up to whats available technology wise and are having their doughts as well.
Just my opinion folks, proceed with caution.
HasRob said:Yes, have already seen the iphone confrence (on apples site) and similar phones capable of the same. Also seen a yahoo commercial yesterday with what looked liked a palm treo browsing yahoo.com/mobile for a real estate commercial.
It wont be too long imho when web pages will be projected into mid air about 2 inches off the screen for easy viewing. Keyboard projectors are already out, why not web pages?

Don't let your bitterness cloud your judgement.
HasRob, I suggest you again disclose to everyone you sold MyT.mobi to Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile in Germany) for only $510 in January.
For those that are unaware of HasRob's missed opportunity....

HasRob said:Thank you for the compliment. That sale was enough to cover all my .mobi registrations. I also sold cellularpoker.mobi for $500, satellitepoker.mobi for $100 and numerous other .mobi domains all for a profit :sold:![]()
This however does not help your case :imho:

mjnels said:welp.. you heard it here first guys.. everyone is going to magically carry a supercomputer cellphone with them.. when this happens itll likely happen all at once id assume... japan, usa, mexico, canada, korea, ethiopia, brazil, nigeria..all these places, all these people of different income status... will move toward the mid-air projection screens.. yep.
mobile content? whats that? never heard of it... in my crazy mind i guess that means i never will hear of it..
now that ive been enlightened im curious how this crazy .TV extention is thriving on television... i try telling people we've had a regular TV for years and theres no point in having a .TV domain... but so far, theyre not listening.. i called VH1, MTV and Fuse yesterday and informed them the .TV extention is pointless but they hung up on me...
