this would be the same procedure for any venture capital transaction...convince people to put up some money...whats wrong with that?

Yes and so far these experts have really only given money. If they really want mobi to succeed they would add a mobi button or default searches to mobi. IF this happened I personally would be grabbing up every mobi name I could because this would create automatic type-in traffic. However there is NO plans for this announced. I would think that even a simple press release saying that in 2008 this is a planned feature. This would greatly improve the mood of mobi and shut me up for good about mobi.

I wish I could shut myself up sometimes but I read posts and get a compulsion to reply in an honest manner. I try to be fair.

sorry, I didn't realize how much insider information you were privy to...which of those companies do you have the inside scoop on?

Samsung for one has many "illl.mobi names...I didnt know a company would buy so many domains and not have a plan for them...

or why would the investors put in 18 million dollars and have NO plans for .mobi?

I guess I need more schoolin...

There is a certain individual who has posted in this thread. I won't name names but that individual has flip flopped on the .mobi a few times and just seem to make antagonizing posts. I just ignore that particular persons posts and I hope for the sake of mobi threads others do the same. Otherwise you just encourage that individual and the thread quickly degenerates in to a pro vs. anti .mobi argument. That argument has been beat more than any dead horse. 8-X

I don't have the individual on ignore by the way, I look at the person's posts and get some comic relief, but I won't let myself get sucked in and actually respond to the same old song and dance routine. :wave:
