I agree with you , I would rather own a valuable xxx.mobi , and I believe I have one, maybe not as valuable as some of these portfolios yet, but it is developed and getting lot of trafiic and making some small money for me and in time, I believe, will have a lot of value.

What about the guy who bough all 4000 remaining LLL.mobi at once? That is worth a minimum of $800,000 right now and keeps on going up, and who knows what other good mobi names they own.

I agree that mobile phone-relevance is basic in valuating the portofolios. There are some names that will be good for sure, but some others could become relevant in the future as the .mobi sites are developed. An example: There are some &&&&onmobile.mobi regged like:

Any of them developed yet, not surprising at all. But All except casinoonmobile.mobi are owned by companies, and onmobile.mobi by Deutsche Telekom ( T-mobile ). When developed in the future this sites will make &&&onmobile.mobi names be more popular and valuable.

When so many domain names have been already regged, this could be a new strategy to find new interesting .mobi names. Is like i&&&.com or e.&&&.com, I don't know who made this "i" and "e" so popular, but they are everywhere.
