I like the scott one

Yeah the scott ones seems better in my opinion :]

Do you have reasons?.. I can't really do anything just knowing that you think one is better than the other.

First off, i think the styles are "equal".

I will explain why in a minute, i also think you should change the header, the colour scheme, saturated orange doesn't look good on any site.

Why i didn't "prefer" a theme.
Well, none of them are perfect, there are major things i don't like in each of them.

The sidebar looks far better on the right.

The font on the Scott theme looks better, more professional, it looks like no thought or consideration has being put into the design on the Dan one, when it comes to fonts.
Looks very messy. Although, i think Verdana, or Arial would be best suited.

The "story?" headers, i prefer the green colour (Dan), but dislike the Red, it looks like a default HTML red, and seems to just "come up", it's not taken from anywhere.

So, maybe have the green header, and replace the red with the same green. (Keep the grey text too.)

Not too keen on the bright blue links too, maybe make them a bit darker, or try making them darker and lowering the saturation on the colour.

Remember, i don't mean to be harsh, just trying to give improvements based on my opinions.

Eeek, well the site just died.. hopefully it comes back soon.

The reason /dan is kind of just a jumble of different colors is that I just copied /scott and changed a few things around. I wasn't really done with everything, but it's been like that for a while now.

to be honest i feel that the layout of dan would be better if a different font was used, or maybe the one scott uses? :santa: merry xmas

I personally like the Scott one better. I prefer the Navigation being on the left side because like most people, I read from left to right so and I'm more used to it being situated on that alignment.

I think the Dan one would be better with just a tad higher font, is all. The font face is good, I kinda like it but it's size makes it a bit hard to read for my eyesight.

All in all, I like the Nav of the Scott one, font face of the Dan one, and I also like the colour of the text in the Dan one better as well.

I prefer the look of dan's, although the finished offness of scott's, his looks more complete and everything is nice and goes well together. Whereas on dan's the edges of some fonts are a bit jittery/pixelated, but i do prefer his colour scheme as there is more of a variation
