Hey folks,

Well, I didn't plan on releasing this here for a bit longer, but since the appearance of this thread, figured I might aswell release it.. "officially".

What is it?

Domain Name Portfolio is a FREE PHP and MySQL based application to help domain owners better organize their portfolio. It allows you to list your domains with their expiry, registrar, price, status, and category. Also allows visitors to your portfolio to contact you about a given domain.

Features (short list):

- List your domains along with a category, registrar, expiry, price, and a status.
- Domains are sortable by domain, category, registrar, expiry, price, or status.
- A quick and convienient contact form is provided for anyone interested in a domain.
- Captcha to help deter spam, and bot emails.
- Secure admin area to add, edit, delete, and set site options.
- Categories
- Domains have their own details page.
- Add domains in bulk.
- Search domains
- Custom template engine.
- Support for MySQL & MySQLi

Cool Micro

There are a few bugs I've noticed in 0.3.1. Mainly in the templates..but another in one of the admin files, in the redirect(); Will try to release something in the next day or two.

This version ( 0.3.2 ) is being brought up to PEAR/vBulletin coding standards (I like how they do it

), with a few new functions, and a rewrite of the mysql class.

No, it does not support IDN's yet. But it will soon.

Something I may add in 0.4.x

I like those two suggestions SV. Also like I said in the chatroom, the ability to list a domain as "not for sale", so I can show domains I own, but that are not for sale. Don't know if it would be possible, but maybe you could grab the exp dates and other info from a whois site like whois.sc?

Updated to 0.4.1 - won't show on freshmeat as of yet (just submitted) so download from the homepage.

CHANGES

-Added a new status option "Not For Sale"
-Added a check in contact.php to see if the domain was already sold or is Not For Sale
-You can now define your currency in inc/config.php
-inc/site_data.php removed, combined with inc/config.php
-Bug fixed in contact.php. rel="nofollow" should have been in the <a> tag, but was in the <img> tag
-Various other bugs fixed.

hmm I've got some problems adding more domains. It always bring me back to admin login page and ask me to login again. Any idea why?

Well - seeing as how you are using another script now.. meh.

I tested it before I made the release, never had that problem.

Yeah man, might be some problem with my webhosting. Will try the script again some other time, maybe after it has passed its beta stage.

Great script by the way (after seeing the demo).

I do have one up actually - but i'm not sure if I updated it yet

Will go see in a few then give a link.

(Working on 0.4.4 btw, which will include an extra font for captcha, plus a function to allow templated errors, among a few other things).

Suggestions:

1: Pagerank display option
2: Click to popup box of extra information (google links, pagerank, yahoo links, msn links)
3: Visual Pagerank of the domain, just in case content is added onto the site.
