Using Straight BIN Across The Board With The Afternic DAN Landers? Does This Work? Profile Still Shows Make Offer?

In order to have Afternic listings seen also automatically on Dan, one apparently needs to have BIN ONLY on the listing. In other words, no Floor Price or Minimum Offer other than the BIN price.

So, has this been effective for you?

Have you recently had any Afternic listings sold through the Dan landers?

And were you able to find a way to automatically, on the Afternic panel, propagate a BIN price to the "floor" and "minimum" price fields? Without manually having to type that in for each one?

And finally, for yoiurmember profile page, even with the straight BIN, did still a minimum offer field shows up--displaying the same price as the BIN. Did you find a way to fix this?

Any input from @GoDaddy would be appreciated as well. I did send the last question to Afternic support, but have yet to hear back.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
So this is the concern about the Afternic Member Profile listing page. If you are using an Afternic Dan Lander, my understanding is that there has to be only one price listed "across the board." So, if your BIN, minimum offer, and floor prices are all the same, the Member Profile stil shows a confusing BIN AND "make offer" column.

Note also that the "make offer" button is active, so someone still can click it to "make an offer," even though it is BIN only.

@GoDaddy ? @Dan ?

@GoDaddy
Can you fix peculiar member profile page appearing when using Afternic Dan Landers? You don't need a "make offer" column when everything is completely BIN (same price minimum and floor).

Hi @LoveCatchyDomains
If you're using the Dan.com Lander through Afternic (selecting the Dan.com Lander through the Afternic Portfolio Page), then you just need to make sure two things are set up:
  1. Your domain has a Buy it Now price at Afternic
  2. Your domain is not actively listed at Dan.com
Anything further isn't required in order to use the Dan.com Lander through Afternic. A floor price indicates the lowest value you'd sell for if a broker is negotiating on your behalf (this normally happens through inbound leads from the Request Price lander). A Minimum Offer value represents the lowest offer price a potential buyer can make.

For your Member Profile page, if you don't want domains to be visible, you can adjust your Profile Privacy: https://www.afternic.com/account/privacy
