Hello,

Like the title says, I'm interested to see some prices.
How much would you ask / month, to administrate a dedicated server.
What you have to do? What an administrator does .. Back-up, moving accounts, creating accounts, installing stuff on dedicated ... etc...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Screw that. Administering a third party server is hell on Earth if I'm not the boss.

Thanks for your opinion, but I still need to see some prices :)
I never said that I would like to hire someone, but if I have to do it, how much would you ask for that.

Are you looking to hire someone or are you pricing so you can hire yourself out?

Also, what's the setup? Plesk? Linux vs Windows? ASP vs PHP? MySQL? Postgres? MSSQL?

There's a lot that goes into pricing such services. Admining a straight LAMP stack is a different proposition than admin Windows / IIS.

Almost every web hosting company should provide dedicated server with server management or without. Why don't you want to use managed dedicated server.
Of course prices are different, but on a tad higher price you will get what you need.

I suppose that approximately that will cost $100 per month per server

Best way for server administration is to leave the server to good server administration company and sleep well when your server is down. Since they will be taking care of your server.

cPanel server management starts with $25 to $50 and more for other control panels. My servers are managed by Assistanz Networks, they backed me in dreadful situations....

Here is the list of things they cover cPanel Server Management | AssistanZ - Outsourced Web Hosting Support | 24x7 Technical Support Outsourced

Goodluck!
