You have to know what you own, or ask someone. What in my opinion is the best value buy of the year took place on Sedo this week. DWN.com listed as buy it now for 2,999 Euros was scooped up quickly by a Chinese registrant. I verified this with Sedo for 100% accuracy. So there is no conspiracy here. The seller was Data Warehouse Network out of Cork, Ireland. Here is the thing they got acquired by another … [Read more...]

Only 24 days to go ;)

It will end much higher, don't worry.

It can't. Maximum bid is $5,988 and someone has bid that amount.

If current owner doesn't renew, the domain goes to the person who's bid $5,988 (i believe).

Interesting but no doubt it will be renewed after looking at past ownership that or its a ploy to get offers ;)

That's insane. Who sets the maximum limit?

"max bid" used to be $50 for all expired domains at namesilo. So even a 3L.com would have sold for $50 (once somebody bid $50, no more bids could be made).

But since namesilo is a relatively new registrar, and populated by domainers, very very few good domains are actually let to expire there. Nearly all get renewed before the pre-release auction ends.

I have caught and nailed many thieves, ex employees and former admin's are a norm.

i have at least 7 cases where this happened. contact the rightful owner, usually a company, and they let them go... it seems people don't want to get into trouble for just high 4 figures to low 5 figures. probably high 5 figures would put them in another stance regarding losing a domain to a former employee...

i have even had a case where the previous manager was still an employee of the company and they looked into it and told me that i could contact him and make an offer :)
