Why one needs to know the Registrar's track record before investing in domains or doing business via their service, affiliates or associates. More importantly rely on records for facts versus tall claims or rumours spread by crooked individuals.
Here is an example in the public records of the Indian justice system of this errant Registrar whose accreditation was terminated last October.. This is a case that is a decade old and needs close scrutiny of domain investors. Why would you deal with these kind of providers ever?

- CS (OS) No.783/2006 was filed by owners of NAUKRI.com in mid 2006 against the squatter of the domain name NOUKRI.COM and the said name was deemed similar and misleading by Delhi High Court
- The Defendant in this case ignored all notices served on him and applied for the DHC to condone the delay which they refused
- A bailable ARREST WARRANT was issued against him with police at his doorstep and he was to respond according to him
- The Defendant in this case blamed his service providers (lawyers) for the delay (thrown out by DHC)
Key court comments -
- Cost of Rs. 10,000/- payable by the defendant to the plaintiff was ordered due to delay in responding via W/S
- It must be grasped that judiciary is respected not on account of its power to legalize injustice on technical grounds but because it is capable of removing injustice and is expected to do so.
- The case was "settled" out of court - the website was taken down based on orders on filing of the case and never ever went back up. Info Edge still owns the domain name and it does not resolve or redirect users.
