CreativeXR: Supporting the UK’s Immersive Content Industry
It can be tough starting out in the XR industry, developing projects purely for their creativity and forward-thinking, or something more commercial, either for consumer or enterprise use cases. It’s why funding initiatives like CreativeXR – a collaboration between Digital Catapult and Arts Council England – have proven to be so popular...
I also picked up:
xrsizer dot com
In relation to smart mirrors that allow you to try clothes on for style and size to go also with:
aimirrors dot com (singular was taken and is listed on DAN for 49,980, ouch!)
Not super bullish on XR but just handregged these.
XR(.FYI) (+xrfyi.com, for good measure)
XREYE ending soon, still cheap imo.
Well, ended $191
MediView XR Out Of Stealth With X-Ray Vision And $4.5 Million In Funding
“Cleveland Clinic-backed XR medical visualization startup, MediView XR, Inc., has launched with $4.5 million in funding. The company uses the HoloLens and their custom software to help doctors visualize patient anatomy, and anchor it precisely on their body, giving the doctor, in essence, x-ray specs.”
Another interesting note.... this company chose to brand with XR even though the VR version of their name is available to reg. They own the AR version but are only using it for forwarding.
Healthcare and XR tech seems to go very well together.
Like many others, they look at the bigger picture.
just got: XR/Robo in king
XR / brochure (com) and the plural.
Take a look at the VR version vrbrochure.com
Cross Reality And Blockchain - A New Era Of The VR Industry
I just searched YTD applications for XR in the WIPO database. I see that Samsung has a handful of pending applications for that logo that was brought to our attention a few months back.
And there are some companies in countries such as Japan, Mexico, Korea, and a few others, which have trademarked terms such as Aura | XR and Horizon | XR. I think it's interesting to see that Johnny Walker has an active trademark for an XR brand (https://www3.wipo.int/branddb/en/showData.jsp?ID=MXTM.0119852181990). It might be just a coincidence, but it makes me think of the AR feature that Jack Daniels launched this year (https://insanertech.com/jack-daniels-augment-reality-app-by-tactic).
Pardon the double post. I just came upon this very recent application (three days old): https://www3.wipo.int/branddb/en/showData.jsp?ID=EMTM.018141276
I think we have our answer to the above quote.
Ouch... Well... You can never really know who your buyer is if they don't want want you to... The seller doesn't want to reply to my message so... Only he knows 🤷♂️
Just regged: XR/Cinemas in king
He gave it back to huge domains
I don't blame him... They have it up for an end user price... Not donainer...its XRPlay, not XRGames....
Honestly it's priced ok, a little negotiable I'm sure. Still a great domain.
So, who got XRmanagement?
