Either way it describes the spectrum just like mixed reality.

Been looking around and shopping for a while now, saw many companies choosing to rebrand to xr or just starting with xr in their names..

Those are only some of my findings that are already developed (there are many more undeveloped by major companies like unity/sony etc..)

I agree don’t sell your best names wholesale. Especially not the wholesale generally offered here. Sell everything else reduced.

First I’ve read this, but if signed into law, November would officially be recognized as “National XR Month” in the USA.

I want to add, this proposal is directly related to the recently signed into law “Chips Act”. The act invests multi billions into the semi conductor and future tech industry in the US. If the “National XR Month” proposal is also passed, it would immediately link XR to the CHIPS act and the (essentially) unlimited funding/grants that will come with it. This relationship would put XR front and center for the foreseeable future. Absolutely huge implications here.

The xr space has really moved forward in the last few years . I like a catch all phrase as it encompasses all realities for the general public plus XR looks cool .
