    check if the domain was ever dropped.
    check the backlinks to the domain.

    see if domain is blacklisted.
    basic stuff.

    then proceed with caution.

    see how many extensions the domain is registered.

    has to be a reason why it is available for reg.

    too many of use domainers out there for such a good domain to be out in the open.

    • I think it increases the chance of selling, but it doesn't make it easy to sell In addition,.net domain names are not as well as .com domain names:xf.smile:

    If you will develop a net domain with high search volume for organic SE traffic yes it's worth. Because there is no real difference between com and net for search engines. But if you will resell then probably it's not worth.
