as it was mentioned in the other thread nothing was taken or pre-registered yet. at this stage only non-binding expression of interest submissions are possible and that's what 1and1 calls "pre-registration"
When/after registration pricing published for those .crickets and .blackfridays some of these submits may never turn into real regs. Others will probably go thru auctions but definitely no one ever is going to give you toys.store for a regfee because you "pre-registered" it with 1and1..
as to random CCCs you could ask happy LLL./xxx/me/pw/mobi/info/biz/asia/etc owners how well they are doing... however some of them would immediately post a couple of reported LLL sales that mean to demonstrate how potentially valuable LLLs in those extensions are (don't mess with .pw addicts - they are a sect)
various flavors of NNNs in potentially solid TLDs (web, shop etc) may draw moderate interest from asian domainers/investors but i expect the margins/demand won't be high enough for most of us to participate - smth more like 5N.com market
i dont see any value in LLL.newTLD names (unless they are words). but we are undoubtely going to see all of them taken at once, several POF.cricket sold raising optimism in those who got hudreds qgz.whatevers at $100 each, dozens of threads initiated to discuss "next big things", countless appraisal requests generated, tons of money wasted... gay times ahead, we'll love it..
