insect.world sounds great - could be an exact domain for a website about the 'world of insects' (haha I know, what else), all related facts to insects.

If you haven't allready, you could make National Geographic (or others, similar to them) an offer.
BTW I have read that the whole weight of all existing insects on the earth is about the same whole weight of all people on it.

i bought a .world domain but let it lapse but as it is currently still available may decide to re buy it so for obvious reasons cant sa what it was but the .world does appear in google under world which is good for seo and google rankings
