discuss Why Spend Lots of Money on Crypto Domain but Not Use It?

Out of 9 more or less random examples of substantial crypto domain sales reported over past 1-1/2 yrs only 3 are developed, with 2/3 parked or for sale page. I find that very interesting what with all that money said to have been spent, ranging from $16,500 to $195,000 but only 1/3 are developed:

back to the subject,
most of the domains are acquired by domainers
a few of them by people who have a project but never find time to start(webmasters, it guys,...)

most of my inquiries on the last 6 months were on CannaBis/weed & crypto
only one domain that i sold was used for a new crypto service

this is a completely different market than the business niche domains, were the domain is used on the get go to expand their online visibility

IMO, one more reason for BTC/Crypto domains low usage is big price declines since they were purchased what with Bitcoin trading as low as $4,092 yesterday. There doesn't seem to be any nearby limit to the drop.
