Why some domains at GD auctions have initial price $11, not $12?

Basically, the question is in the title...

I recently saw a few such domains. Yes i'm positive it's an initial price, not the first day of closeout.

I am wondering too some domains have one bidder with $10

I don't think any start at $11, but $10 starting bids are because someone placed a "GoDaddy Backorder" on a domain:
