Why .onl not as popular as other new gTLDs like .xyz ? Although it's short and catchy

It seems that the "third party entity" is RADIX FZC., probably they have a coorporation.

However, Wikipedia says this (that was my source):

I agree with that as well. I also have not had any .xyz sales the last six months. It had more of a hype a year or two ago.

the hype returned after I let one word xyz expire. but hand regged a few names in the last 2 months lol
