Very simple :

Godaddy is complicated
Godaddy is confusing

Uniregistry is simple and good and i get topcoins
Uniregistry has the best dashboard in the field

i guess Godaddy is just habit
there is really no reason for me to remain at Godaddy

"you dont discover new worlds,
if you do not have the courage, to leave the coastal"

the time will show it :

there is no alternate to Uniregistry

even to search for new domains is fun and makes sense

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
In godaddy,

abnsnn.xyz is C$9.99 = US $7.79

In Uniregistry:
abnsnn.xyz is $1.88

which one is cheaper

$8.99 GD is cheaper than $12.88 renewals at Uni.

And you skipped my questions, yet again

Uniregistry.com : .poker 3,88 ( plus topcoins )
Godaddy.com .poker 41,99

Godaddy is expensive
Godaddy is complicated
Godaddy is confusing

it is time to Go Daddy

No, topcoins based on the terms shouldn't provide that great of a discount. The prices he can register at are too low. Which tells me your being given better rates. If this isn't something that was done via a representative, which frankly, I'm not sure if it can be, than there's clearly something lawfully wrong.

I know you can get better rates on transfers if doing so in bulk via a rep, but I wasn't aware rates/costs would be changed indefinitely.

i guess you are confusing like Godaddy

what I can say is:

if you transfer more domains to Uniregistry, they will automatically offer you long term cheaper price.
maybe this is the reason.

I dislike the arrogant attitude of Godaddy.

It's funny you say that, and anyone can feel free to prove me wrong. But I've never spoken with any godaddy rep (maybe because I've never asked) that would play favorites just to have your names brought over.

Ethically speaking, uniregistry is in wrong for these types of practices. Playing favorites is incredibly unprofessional. I'm not sounding the horn here, and I really don't care an incredible amount, but there's no arguing that this isn't wrong.

Stuff like this just makes uniregistry look desperately pathetic. I'm sure Schilling told all of his reps...

"If it's at Godaddy. Do whatever it takes to get those names here. Whatever it takes".

years ago, I remember godaddy still little bit competitive in pricing. Now things getting changed.

I cannot say 3 years later, Uniregistry still comeptitive in price. But one thing is sure now, Godaddy is expensive

all the data is there, but you still dont want to agree

How much are you paying for .com at Uni?

I pay $8.67 USD @ Uniregistry, renew fee is $8.67 USD

I pay $8.96 USD @GoDaddy, renew fee maybe very expensive, if my discount club membership expired

I find it so funny that everyone is up in arms with topcoin. What everyone seems to be incredibly focused on are dollar discounts it makes. In my opinion, its packaged as helping the buyer, when in reality creating a cryptocurrency opens the doors to less transparency in a business. Theres more to topcoin and why its used, than just helping out the buyer.

And to clarify, I'm referring to it as a cryptocurrency in the least way possible. The company's comparison to it as frequent flyer miles is a far better comparison.

Great. You pay $8.67 at Uni, somebody else pays over $9 for the same extension. I pay $8.29 with Discount Club and since I have hundreds it's cheaper.

One thing that Godaddy is disgusting is that:

Godaddy thinks they are the NO.1, all the time. Arrogrant. Poor service, poor interface, poor price, poor arrogant attitude.

I hate this. Godaddy will fail in this business in a decade or so, if they dont change something.

Well, just had over 600 people vote on it - https://www.namepros.com/threads/favorite-domain-registrar-poll.933122/

End of day like I said in that thread, personal preference, if you're happy with the registrar you're using, that's all that matters.

Topcoin maybe not a big deal, but Uniregistry is trying to get a great connection with customer. Yes it s not a big deal, but it lets customer feel warm, fun, and motivative.

You can keep defend your godaddy shit, no one cares.

even they will have special events...

i guess i am the only one who use his real name

pls keep the respect
we are all domainers

trying to buy and sell domain names
we should learn from each other

not fight each other

even when it means to break with the norm

Godaddy was no1 but life is changing and Uniregistry.com take over

Godaddy has been there for about two decades? It used to be NO.1. And I believe everyone used to have names under it. Godaddy has a great past.

Now, Uniregistry is just about 2 years? a two decade brand obtains more voters than a two year brand, and you feel proud of it? No risky?

If I am CEO of godaddy, I better resign and go to eat sh*t, because Godaddy is sh*t, never progress, never improve, never update. Godaddy will die.

Remember how many business brands die in the past, they were doing very well, but they have huge problems in attitude. They dont change, so they die.

Godaddy is a legend, but it will be a joke, a negative lecture for many of future businesses.

Do you get this part:

End of day like I said in that thread, personal preference, if you're happy with the registrar you're using, that's all that matters.

Why do you care so much that other people like GD?

You should really practice what you preach. I think the 2 of you would be better off taking a step back from the computer screen and then coming back with fresh eyes and a lower heart rate to reread how this discussion actually transpired.

Arguing about what registrar/registry is better is the last thing the majority of members on here would ever do. It's a subject that's so beaten into the dirt, it's not worth the time.

Hopefully you'll realize we (me + JB) were never drawing sides on who is better. I can't imagine there are an incredible amount of people out there that have an emotional attachment to million and billion dollar businesses that aren't their own.

But what it was about is the lack of respect. And you can't take those things back ~after their posted.

all this post is about :

Why i transferred all my dmains from Godaddy to Uniregistry.com ?

so if you want to live in habit - go for it
if you want to change something for your better - go for it

just logical

it is all up to you:lookaround:

Every registrar that states renewal prices publicly on their site. How many do NOT do that?

Doubt any registrar guarantee you any prices other within a limited period of time. Besides Uni do state a general price plan just like any other registrar.

Yes, we know that. Other registrars also have public bulk pricing or if it's a club, prices clearly laid out. If different people pay for the club, their .com prices are the same. We have people paying different prices for a .com at Uni. I was using general price plans and omelet was using some prices that nobody can see publicly. I can link to GD discount club and you can see exactly what you would be paying (transparency) and also other registrar's pricing, you can't link to the prices omelet was using. So it just works a little differently.

Why are you so afraid to ask them for a personalized price plan? This is how most industries work other than those in communist/socialistic countries.
