question Why do so many domainers have their own site where they show their domains?

I saw a lot of domainers here on namepros that have a portfolio site, is it worth it?
did you ever sell a domain with these sites?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Some do, some don't. I think having your own website showcasing your portfolio adds confidence to buyers and gives a presence ...always a positive thing

IMO

it's good to have one for seo domains for example.

They are also learning a valuable skill (website development) which can be used to:
1- Sell domain names;
2- Find paid employment;
3- Help others, including through volunteering;
4- Keep up to date with technology;
5- Earn money from performance marketing;
6- Develop websites and sell them.

Thank you!

so the result is the same ?
Well it can be depending if you now give them too many options on same niche or you can still do nothing active to sell domains. How hard is it to make a list then build around it? Those keywords might work.
