I think domainers who don't restrict themselves to .com or some other extensions are willing to take any domain where they can make a profit.

Excuse me, what do you mean when you talk about Russian domains. Do you mean domains with extension .ru, about indn domains, ie Cyrillic or something else?

Do they? I am not actually familiar with the fact that tey do buy some Russian domains. How does that work? If it has a .ru in it, will the domain be lost or will it be retained? it's actually my first time to hear about this so I don't know how well it works but that's amazing.

Hmmm.. I'm not really sure but perhaps it's to generate traffic. A friend of mine who works at Bitcasino told me that their competitors used to buy Russian domains to appeal to the Russian market, but I've always thought of it as a deal or some sort of transaction that's only viable for deeper business connections. But who really knows?
