i have a few domain and i don't really like my address etc. being displayed so i have just replaced all the details with N/A. so its not really false info just not the real info.

If it's not your real information and just N/A in the fields then how is that not false information? If it's not false or real, then what else could it be? ;)

ICANN is starting to crack down on false whois information. If you don't want your address shown then pay the little extra to have it private. Can range from 99 cents to about $9 a year depending on the registrar your domains are with. :tu:

That's a cheaper option than having the domains stripped from you for not providing accurate and honest information. That's what the agreement is that you have to agree to when you register a domain. You are agreeing that you'll provide accurate information. :talk:

possible yes, godaddy has a pay service that shows private info to remove your info and I believe namecheap has one that may be free not 100% sure. You might wanna look into those. I let all my hosting clients use my info on their whois as long as it's a legal site.

NameCheap currently offers free WhoisGuards with every new domain registration.

I have not heard of domains that actually got deleted, but I have heard of domains that got suspended because of missing whois info so if you don´t want to show your real info is it as mentioned a good idea to buy a whois protection.

Those are rare cases and only happen if someone complains

Yes it is very rare, but why take the chance when whois protection is as low as 0.99$ ?

Godaddy is expensive. What does enom offer?

RegisterFly.com is an Enom reseller and they only charge 0.99$ pr. domain.
