What is WHMSonic Shoutcast Admin Pro?

Hello Electric-Shadow,

WHMSonic allows you to set a limit on the number of listeners a shoutcast can have. WHMSonic supports up to 999 listeners only.

can the WHMSonic be used on a WHM reseller account?

WHMSonic requires root access to install. Root WHM has the option in WHMSonic's panel, to allow cPanel resellers to resell the WHMSonic addon to their customers (the resell ability is set, not given by default.)

Currently WHMSonic only supports cPanel WHM. Currently, in the future it will be available on Plesk, DirectAdmin and No-CP servers.

Sonic Panel discussion is in progress for servers without a control panel but it will probably be a while before it is released as the support of the cPanel WHM addition is currently the main focus.

At this time there is no set date for the DirectAdmin version of WHMSonic.

This is because time is being spent increasing the features in the cPanel version. Once that is at a stage where it is stable and meets the needs of as many clients as possible, work will begin.

Internal: For customers who have a current cPanel web hosting account on the server and need the AutoDJ feature.

External: For customers who don't have a cPanel web hosting account on the server and does no need AutoDJ. Please take notice, AutoDJ requires a web hosting account due to mp3 uploading and storage. If your customers request the AutoDJ feature, please use the internal shoutcast setup and let your customers order web hosting first. AutoDJ feature will be available for external customers on v1.9. Please notice only root users can use this feature at this time. Resellers will be able to soon.

Create Radios without hosting account:
Use the external radio creation feature for this, WHMSonic will create a fake cPanel account for external customer which is safe and only has WHMSonic features included without web hosting, FTP, Email, ssh ....

Multiple Radio Creation:
Possible with external radio creation feature, add usernames sc_user1, sc_user2 ...

Provide only WHMSonic section on the cPanel:
When you create a radio from external radio creation feature this is happening automatically. See the panel screens.

Traffic Limits & Bandwidth Monitor:
This is an important update; WHMSonic will no longer add BW limits to cPanel accounts. WHMSonic will count the traffic limits and monitor them. An abuse check is included.

Email Feature:
You can now send welcome account emails to customers during the shoutcast setup. You can configure your email templates in Tools | Modules | Configurations section. Please notice only Root users can send email at this time. See the screens.

Resellers AutoDJ limit:
You can now disable the resellers AutoDJ access.

New Icons and setup system:
WHMSonic roots and resellers’ main theme and icons have been updated. The radio setup system is now more professional. When setup is done the load bar no longer appears.

Users can download and setup scripts from their WHMSonic cPanel download section.
