Which one do you trust?

My hosting company provides both awstats and webalizer however there are huge dircrepancies between the "number of visits " and "unique visits " produced by each.

Which is generally the most accurate / reliable.

We used to use Awstats before we aquired Urchin statistics for all of our clients.

If you can get your hands on Urchin, use that. Its powerful and definitely more accurate.

Between the two you listed, I'd go for Awstats.

I second that, I've found AWStats to be more reliable.
