I admit I added this option as a gauge to compare other responses. It's an unlikely choice, because current owner asks for $20M for this name. The app startup has ~$40k budget for domain name (but ~$10k-$20k name is more likely to be a choice).

Understandable. As @NickB said anyway, trademark problems with such a name, aside from the price

I went with payfo. No TM, easy to remember, shouldn't be mispelled. I would have picked gpay but doubt that's an option.

Gpay is the best. But you will be at loggerheads with Google.

Paymoa would be fun in France but wouldn't pass the radio test (It's close to "Paie moi" which means "Pay me" in English)
I would go with Payfo from the list but there may be better options with your budget
