Godaddy - great... just great Registrar
Name.com - great usabilty, good support, I love the control panel
Namecheap - cheap ssl, cheap host, great support, sh*t DNS
Dynadot - I like their bulk search
Netfirms - i like their $1.99 promos :)

1- GoDaddy
2- Enom .. All domains I buy on Namejet are there and I never had any problem. But when its time to renew I transfer to GD.

For anything of reasonable value:
  • NameSilo (now ~1450 domains)
  • NameBright (for what I dropcatch) (now ~49 domains)
  • Epik (rarely used although they're quite nice) (now 44 domains)
  • Name.com (very rarely) (now 12 domains)
For junk / very quick flips:
  • domain.com / dotster.com / netfirms (they recently managed to "lose" a few domains for me so they can't be trusted even for junk)
  • GoDaddy for when the user I buy from insists he / she can't do registrar transfer or think only GoDaddy exists in this world. In any other case I avoid them like the plague.
  • NameCheap for some low quality stuf - I think their DNS system lives in Congo (no offence for the people actually living there)

Godaddy with the discount club membership. $8 and some change per dot com.

Most of my domains are at GD and Uniregistry, I am thinking to switch completely to Uniregistry though. Nothing can beats their UI.

Dynadot let's you approve Sedo and Afternic listings in backend. Click a button and you are done. VERY useful and saves time.
