Hello,

I don't want to use a credit card when buying a domain name, but I want to use my PayPal account.

I tried using PayPal from Godaddy.com and it still makes me add a debit or credit card for some reason :/
Could some one help me out? Preferably a place that's also cheap and trusted :D

Also, after I buy a domain name, how can I go about adding my new domain name to search engines and directories such as DMOZ, etc. ?

Namecheap.com accepts Paypal, in my opinion it is my best registrar all around. :) They're one of the most popular and widely used domain registrars, and with the coupon codes, .com/net/org/biz/us domains are $7.99 (normally $8.88).

Good luck domaining! :)

Did Paypal ask you to add a credit card, or Godaddy? This may be a Paypal issue rather than one with Godaddy...

Use www.dynadot.com, they have no minnimum deposit requirement as Namecheap, and the registration is pretty quick!

Best of Luck!

Namecheap will take even unverified account as well as domainsite

though godaddy requires you to have verified accounts ... u can either add credit cards or bank account

Thanks guys, I just bought it from Namecheap.com :D
It takes a few days for the domain name to start working right?

But I found out it's a paypal problem, when you need to make instant payments Paypal makes you add a credit card for "backup" purposes so I just did it

Now that I have a domain name, how can I go about adding my new domain name to search engines and directories such as DMOZ, etc. and make it known? :D

well you could have used www.dynadot.com if you needed it instantly, they are also a dollar less, never mind same happened with me, i registered some at namecheap but then found dynadot to be better.
But frankly, namecheap is still my second preference :)

Good luck!
