Hi all,
I am confused and upset. I had a domain that was held (sorry if I don't know exact terminology) at Annulet. I wasn't using it as of yet but got it to keep it parked so no one else would get it. Well, this weekend I get a wonderful email stating they noticed I had a similar domain and if I wanted to buy this one to let them know. No contact/company info, just a name. WTF!! Why would I buy a domain I hold?? So I jumped on Whois and it turns out it expired in July. OK, before you start yelling at me, like I said I don't currently use it so I am not actively watching working with or watching over it. But here's the bigger deal... I got NO RENEWAL NOTICES from Annulet to tell me it was time to renew. The last email I got from them was in June confirming my contact info.
Naturally I tried first thing this morning to contact Annulet and it is like they fell off the planet. Their parent company, namemedia I think it was, is shut down from what I could tell. I do not want to pay some domain grabber big bucks to get my domain back because Annulet failed to provide customer support or for that matter, probably doesn't exist.
Any ideas/insight? I responded to the mystery email and told them to call me but the have not as of yet.
