Just saw an unbelievable 7N domain sales on namebio.

Domain: 5886888 (dot com)
Sold for $2,012

Surprising part is that the domain was registered less than week ago:

Creation Date: 2015-10-29

So I get it now that if there are more 8s in a numeric domain, it is sure to attract buyers! Or am I missing something?

There are certainly sales going on, prices will rise at some stage during the year

I am personally going after the available "888" to hand reg, they all have either "0 and/or 4", but there are only 5K left, and been tracking that market, almost all the buyers are Chinese, and that market could be sold out in 1 month or so???? Too many Chips left to hand reg (millions) and that might not sell out for 1-2 years. However, the best chips with great repeating patterns are gone.

Just saw these two seven number domains at auction at Godaddy with huge bid amounts...starting bid of 1800!
1422214.com 11 - - $2,650 * USD$ 7H 33M
4533345.com 8 - - $2,550 * USD$ 7H 33M

Any bids? If so, does anyone want to buy my 7Ns for half that amount? ;)

That is insane, I just hand reg this name last month 84 777 84.com which IMO is better than these 2 names above. Are those legit bids????

I'd agree with @Jim Holleran -- those prices are insane.
... But if they actually sell, it bodes really well for the likes of my
62 888 26.com, 97 888 79.com and similar holdings. :)

Edit to add:
Wow, they are open "public" auctions -- not expiring auctions. And they do have some fair bidding traffic going on. Wow, again.

I might have to throw mine in there as a BIN at a much reduced price. (They are currently Make Offer.) They aren't that great, but..who knows. I only have 2. :(

So basically it's not about chips, it about patterns that include "4" which makes this more valuable. If these sales are real, it's going to really blow my mine considering I could of regs thousands of these kind of patterns with "4" last month.

Is there a way to prove they are real and not shill bidding? I have 6n.com's with that kind of pattern with "4" are going go around $200, and I have about 20 patterns just like these 7n.com and never even got 1 lowball offer anywhere. Just be skeptical, but I hope it is true.

I don't know that shill bidding is that big of a thing at godaddy? You could check the bid history to see how many individuals and the bids.... And then I guess wait to see how they end up.

Quite possibly, but all low numbers and patterns. There is some appeal here

Yes real...I didnt believe what I saw so I took a screenshot but i think they are expired domain so thats why they have not reflected on Namebio.com yet. If I told anyone without screenshots, no one would believe the numeric explosion is coming very very soon! At the same auction, a 6N .com were going for over $5,000 but I cannot find that screenshot. :( pity...wait and see on Namebio!

The more I think about it, the more I like 7n.com's as long as you have "triple" in there especially like an "888". Now it's all dependent on the Chinese of course, time will tell!

I believe and there are evidences that good pattern 7n.com having 888 are worth and will sell at somewhat good prices.
