How can an idn considered short lol?
Because the english alphabet is not the only alphabet, it may be the most popular one in economical matters / business world - but at the end it is just one of many, that's why many "IDN - letters" are registerable / supported these days.

As example, the german alphabet includes the letter "Ä" ("ä").
This letter has its own, separate key at the german keyboard (Germany / Austria / Switzerland).

Also every smartphone has this (screen -) "key" if you set german as keyboard - language.

In this context, I registered this shortest domain:

äbc.xyz

For that, I typed
just three letters + TLD!!!
So howww should this IDN not considered as short???

It's punycode - version may have more than only 3 letters - but the visible / typable part / domain itself has indeed just 3, typeable, "browser - friendly" letters (+ TLD).

The letter "Ä" ("ä") is fully supported by all major browsers, means you will see this letter in the URL like you see every "normal" letter.

Hope my answer will expand
your viewww

BTʬʬʬ
At the end, EVERY domain, also "normal", non - IDNs are in fact just numbers... ...0 & 1.

JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY

Have you ever sold any of them for any serious amounts of money?

If not then you should learn from history!

If you did then I take it back and acknowledge you may have something that I don't fully understand.

That said..... sales are the deciding factor

Expand the view of stupidity?
The puny code is what it matters, that is your domain!

No, expand the viewww of punyyy

The puny code is what it matters, that is your domain!
Again no, it's the result of the punyyy which matters - because that's (at least in the mentioned cases / previous posted IDNs) the visible part of my domain.

If my previous explanation * regarding this matter / domains doesn't open your eyes, I can't help.
