I will make it easy:
1) sign up for personalization site.
2) Design t-shirts, mugs, etc. (Simple wysiwyg editor provided by site)
3) Save designs
4) Make up prices for items
5) Sell on the site, They sell it and deliver it for you.
6) Market/Advertise site.
For better profit margins buy and design products yourself.

I don't because I have enough niches to build out that would take me a lifetime and Chicago is big enough market for my 143Chicago.com when I get around to it.
