What is "update db records only" on Dynadot?

Update db records only is a checkbox option that I noticed while updating Domain Contacts on my domains. It's unchecked by default. What happens if I place a check mark in it?

I can only assume that "db" means database, but that doesn't help.

Best guess is that it has to do with opting out of the transfer lock from updating a domain's contact information. Check the option to opt out and not have its transfer b/locked?

Hi @Addison. I'm sorry, but I am not familiar with the checkbox you mentioned. We did add the two below, which you noted refer to the 60 day lock that could be applied after changing the domain's contact record.
