What is the value of 2 letter .net.au domains?

G'Day,

I own a 2 letter .net.au domain and i would like to know if its worth keeping?

I registered it because it was only 2 letters and all or most 2 letter .com.au domains were gone.

Im really not sure of the value of a 2 letter .net.au, I think if it was a .com.au it would be worth x,xxx, maybe higher to the right end-user. I think it depends on the letters as well.

Hi Snoopinc,

All LL.com.au were registered a few years ago. LL.net.au ran out last year.

Here are all the LL.net.au sales on Netfleet in the past few months.

DL.net.au $200
CT.net.au $170
33.net.au $150
AF.net.au $70
VP.net.au $111

These are all pretty good letters so maybe you'd say an average LL.net.au is worth $100

If you consider that the buyers of these probably paid over $100 in transfer costs, I guess you could argue that the real value would be around $200.

Giles is right with LL.com.au. Minimum $1,000 for non-premium I would suggest.
