So doing my cardio yesterday, and got a message from a domain seller with whom I initiated the discussion about casino.cool domain name something like a year ago. At that time, they wanted a higher price which was no bargain to me, but after a year, they accepted my initial price offer (which was, honestly, pretty much law ball)

TLDR: I just purchased CASINO.COOL for less than 1K!

What a time to be alive!

But, and to be honest ... as I stated multiple times on this forum ... do not let your best assets go cheap. While I do understand that many of you do not yet understand the value of good new domain names, some names simply scream quality! Do not sell them to guys like me who already have enough, hold something good for yourselves as well!

And what do you think guys? Am I getting value, or is the seller getting value exchanging a name like this for a little bit of money, which are being printed now each and every day anyway? :) Share your honest, 2021, opinion!

@DigitalRoar As one of these people who are bringing up NameBio- reported data naturally isn't all the data and maybe not even close to it. However, it's an indication of how well extensions are doing. If you want to believe that there are hundreds/thousands/millions of unreported .cool sales and that for some reason only a few dozen have been reported up till now and those too all resulted in sales lower than $600- then that's of course something you can believe in. By all means, invest heavily in the .cool extension if that makes sense to you. But since sales data exists and more informed decisions can be made based on it, shooting in the dark by betting decent amounts of money on such an extension probably isn't a great investment strategy. An investor can get lucky, but paying as an investor more than any reported sale ever is usually a recipe for disaster (especially if done on a consistent basis).

@DigitalRoar Not ranting. Just commenting about your post regarding people discussing namebio. I'll refresh your memory though you made the post today:

"Well, it's a good keyword, also all these people bringing up namebio as if every domain marketplace reports sale and as if private sales don't occur."

Don't make illogical comments discussing people who brought up namebio, if you don't want logical responses from the people who brought up namebio.

@DigitalRoar The comment that you made about the people in this thread who are advocating investing based on data (=using namebio), a group that I happen to belong to, justified a little cynicism about what that kind of thinking can lead to, IMO. Anyway... this exchange is pointless so I'll bow out at this point. All the best.
