    I don't defend Pheenix...
    I just said my opinion.

Stop panic and contact Pheenix including PM at Linkedin... until you receive your refund.
OR PayPal complaint as secondary option.

And don't backorder .CO domains anymore!

Domains was stolen from my account & will be no refund
Do you understand that custom services not work
Do you understand i have 3 tickets open since over a week and no answer
Do you understand that are my money involved not yours
Do you understand that never send a PM via Linkedin ( where come that )
They put on auction other domains that not registred on them
Dont put on backorder any domain extension because you lose money & the domain
..& i am not panic at all

Yes, I'm NOT interested in .CO
I had many LLLs in the past... I sold them all to other domainers and forgot this theme completely.

I just spend my time on your problems...
    OK, that's all. Bye.

Tried calling the pheenix support number they supply on their website

    Support Email:
    [email protected]
    Support Phone:
    +1 888.872.4988

    CEO:
    Tan Tran

The phone number has been disconnected

I emailed them 4 days ago with no response. This news is all new to me, I’ve used pheenix for years without any issues and now just recently am out $519 for .co and .xyz auctions I won, paid for, names show in my account... but they are register at different registrars like Dynadot

For other's , i talk with ICANN & they guide me to use this forms of complain
"consumer protection agency in your jurisdiction. You will find the list of consumer agencies that are Members of ICPEN on this page"
    https://www.icpen.org/resolve-dispute
"if you have a complaint regarding a registrar's description of its customer service handling process, please submit a Registrar Standards Complaint Form at "
    http://forms.icann.org/en/resources/compliance/complaints/registrars/standards-complaint-form
"For help with these domains, you will need to contact the country-code manager for .CO. You can find the manager for a ccTLD by searching the IANA ccTLD database:"

Pheenix worked out of a work share workspace in Irvine CA, maybe you can contact that center, or someone who works there that can shed some light on the situation.

Freshdrop is another enterprise which probably has a lot of users, maybe you can use that to help you trace the owner.

    They refund money for me
Anyone if he want to say here if they recived money
    Conclusion was ( Pheenix )
"It appears that this was an issue with the registry in capturing Premium domain names that should not have been captured. We are working with the registry to have them removed."
I doubt but at least get my money back

If pheenix keeps the names they have to pay the registry roughly $9k per name. There is a reason why they were catching them, because nobody else would touch them.

Of course is a reason & don't worry they will not pay $9 K , will be introduced in auction when time has come
@Jurgen Wolf say this are premium domains & they are not at least not all , i can prove that with HDR.co
Backorder price was $39,99 & like this domain they are lot more
Ok admit is possible to be technical dysfunctionality from Internet S.A.S. ( also expire time for lot of then is not real ) but work . And one thing - Internet S.A.S. realise that "Premium domains" was a stupid thing of them - now most of LLLL .co or even generic keywords drop reg. prices from $600, 1200 what ever to standard price $ 10 or not more then $120 ( not apply to LLL .co or LL .co with few exception as i mention )
Like i say happy i recived money back

I stopped using pheenix ages ago, moved all my domains out.

I used to use their dropcatch services but they rarely caught anything and when they did it always went to an auction.

Now they also want you to buy backorder credits before you can backorder anything, sod that

If you would of remembered the ‘m’ in .com rather than searching .co you wouldn’t be in this position ;)

Got my refund from Pheenix yesterday.
Had to wait a week or so after creating a support ticket but they eventually paid out.

Yep I got the same thing. Weird how they disconnect / don't answer the phones, ignore emails and tickets but will still take your money knowing nothing is coming back to you.

If you paid by PayPal, file a dispute & that generally get them to answer.

That will happen soon enough... Looks like @gorilla_bob is maybe attempting to become a notary public, as he is more interested in blockchain, that providing customer support these days.
