I can check the ICANN rules, but I'm pretty sure it's the domain name owners responsibility to keep their whois up to date and accurate!

I believe it's also reason for forfeiture of the domain if that info is inaccurate, too!

ok, then thanks for the tip, i guess i will have to update my whois then

and most registrars will penalize you for it and give you a chance to fix it before they release the domain

Edit: whois has been updated for most domains, atleast under name, namecheap, and godaddy registrars. Other domains should be correct, but i am still checking.
