DALLAS COWBOYS (5-3) AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (4-4)
STORYLINE: Eagles have top passing game, but Cowboys switched the tables last time
Philadelphia is the NFL passing team by far. It averages almost 300 air yards a game (295.1) and has the league's biggest differential (+ 193) in passes to rushes (337 to 144). So what happened when these teams met a month ago? The Cowboys came out flinging and routed the Eagles 33-10 by throwing for 289 yards. With that game, the teams started on opposite streaks. Dallas has gone 3-1 since and Philly 1-3.
The Eagles -- with rookie WR Reggie Brown now replacing Terrell Owens (Brown posted 94 yards and a TD on five catches last Sunday) -- know they have to balance the passing with a running game so they are not too predictable.
The Cowboys, in their game before last week's bye, believe they have solidified their run game with rookie Marion Barber, who rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns against Arizona. "He does everything required of the position," says Dallas head coach Bill Parcells. "He's not perfect, but there are a lot of kids who don't know how to do what he already knows."
Game is Monday night. Get your wagers in.
