domain vuow.com -- is the letter V a hard sell?

This is a 4LLLL.com, but the V at the start might be tough to pronounce in certain areas of the world. Does anyone have thoughts on the most valuable constonant/vowel patterns in domains? Is CVCV seen as generally preferable to CVVC, or does it just depend on the situation?

As always, depends. A domain like "vava" (CVCV) is obviously amazing, compared to "vauj" (CVVC). However, take something like "vaam" or "veos" (CVVC), this is much better. Common sense, but how usable, pronounceable and brand worthy a domain is, will often dictate the price (as well as who your buyer is and their capabilities)

that's about it in a nutshell

i have sold a 4 letter.com domain starting with "V' for $,$$$
and a sale on afternic in $$$$ range for 4 letter.com ending with V.

and....neither one was a cvcv

but yeah, it depends on actual name

imo...

Really depends on name. Vuow.com is a bit awkward sounding. Something like Vobo.com much better.
