Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Would you get a laptop for VR? I'm getting a new laptop. Specs are below. Will it be able to handle VR? Oculus Rift? What can I expect in terms of game speed/lag if it can handle it. What would I need to upgrade if it can't handle it? Frame rates, etc?

Any help appreciated

At the moment very few laptops can handle the rift. The links Namesbond provided will help you but at the moment the biggest issue is the graphics card.

The Nvidia GTX 980 or AMD 290 are the preferred mobile graphics cards for the rift. It'll be costly but if you're getting a laptop for this then you don't wanna have any compromises. Any lag or framerate loss can seriously make you nauseous so you want the top of the line equipment.

Not sure, I mainly register VR+GEO, it's more intuitive to me. If one were sifting through a list of domains, anything prefixed with VR could then be sorted and isolated as a VR domain imo...

What are everyone's thoughts on what will happen with you tube and vlogging? There's huge money in vlogging so will it go VR?

Will they all be VR eventually? or not?

Nice story on the potential of VR:-

http://www.wired.com/2016/02/vr-moral-imperative-or-opiate-of-masses/

This is something that's always interested me about VR, people in all walks of life having the same experiences in life, virtually putting a home cinema in your home, something the rich usually only can afford, basically bridging the gap between the rich and poor.
