Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have

Vrslave.com
Vronka.com
Vrisp.Com
Vrplayboy.Com
Vrbatim.com

Which is best and the worst as per you from these ??!!

maybe something adult for vrslave.. but its longshot imo

otherwise, do not renew any of these.

check this thread for info on keywords what sold.. can sell etc.. i know its long thread, but its the only way to get the hang of things... the more you'll read the more you'll know.. else you will blindly be just wasting cash... u can also check namebio sales.. cheers. gl.

Nice sale for someone. I assume it did so well because it's a product/brand?

im not sure how it'll be used.. i haven't researched it yet.. not even checked how old it is...

logic dictates a name like this can easily be used to even name an actual vr game console as VRBOX... or to name a VR experience booth where the person enters as VRBOX.. etc etc.. i think there are a few options... short names are always great... but they have to be relevant to VR like this one. cheers.

@nononsense123 I wouldn't know. Never touch the stuff. But holding a large VR portfolio, I can tell you offers are rare enough with .com, that I wouldn't touch anything else.

It was a GoDaddy expired auction.

Someone dropped it... GoDaddy reaps the profits.

What was the end price on ExperienceVR.com from GD expires auctions? Last I checked it was over $400, but it’s not listed on Namebio just yet.

I wonder if it got to 800 like the other experience name auction discussed here from namepros user.

I had that one on a GoDaddy auction last year, had a lot of interest (around 18 bids i believe and 7 different people involved), but never went high enough unfortunately.

I've got the domain redirecting to Dan, so if interests anyone, please feel free to make an offer.

Edit:- Just read again and see you was talking about the singular, i own the plural (experiences)

wow nice sell. i've got thevrbox

cool.
i am downto only 2 thevr+kw.com names
thevrnews
thevrweb

at highest point i had i think 10
i did sell 2 of them so far.. thevrfashion, com for around 1k
and one other one i forget which now

but these are hard to sell ... for now.. maybe more demand for awkward things like these in future when vr explodes mainstream etc.... still quite a few of this combo are regged.. like thevrhotel i think etc.. so.. people are hoarding and waiting... plus maybe some are developed too i guess... cheers

Hey Alcy ! it's been long time i wasn't there, nice to see that you are still here :)

Nice sell (y)

Me i'm down to 20 domains instead of nearly 250 vr domain 2/3 years ago :xf.wink: Yeah i know that's a lot, I was a bit crazy as i'm working in VR since some years already i had hope also for domains in this industry. At the end i dropped many and sold some who covered all the investment, now would like to sell the 20 remain but the market is not ready yet as many marketing budget will be cut or cancelled !
For the after covid market i think than education and travel/tourism might work well in VR...let's see

My favorite ones that i still own ( in king):

OnBoardVR
HolidaysVR
ipornVR
VirtualityTravel
VR Odyssey
VR Sensations
VR Limitless
CentricVR

Wish you all the best for your sell and take care !

yep :) nice to see ya.
im still alive.
still keeping some VR names... a bit hard not to when I sold 10s of them so far for some 20k total.... plus i do like the tech and its potential.... of course i had a few 100s names and spent some reg/renew money too and it wasn't always all good or worth it.. :) but... still excited about VR future and potential... until and unless all the major companies go on prime TV news and in synch say VR is dead and everyone in the world stops working on it forever.. which of course we all know such news will never happen.. that being said... i should be renewing 100-200 names for some years to come in VR.... yes i remember you had quite a few names.. and u reported some sales too ... i didn't really see anytning exciting dropping for regfee expireddomains.net in ages... so maybe your drops were hitting expired auctions bidding or backorders..

cheers
and take care!
