Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Btw, have you noticed who bought virtualrealitystocks?

redirected to a VR site under diff name for a while after sale.. I think another longtail VR name.. if memory serves.

not now any more it seems.

not sure if investor or enduser bought. cheers.

A lot is happening with VR right now. I've seen more interest in my domains in the last 2 months then I did all of last year.

Valve is about to release their upcoming headset, so you know that will get a lot of attention.

HTC and Oculus have their new headsets coming out soon. The next XBOX and PS5 will be announced soon and I wouldn't be surprised if a Switch Pro will be announced soon after. All of which will be combined with VR. I think its safe to say VR will be the hot item for Christmas this year and by next year, most households will have a headset.

It's all looking very exciting!

I think we are almost at the point where companies will have to embrace VR. They really don't have a choice. It use to be more of an optional thing, but Virtual Reality is growing so fast that companies are pretty much forced to get into VR. Their competition will be, so they have to be. With that, the demand for high quality VR domains will increase. It's inevitable.

Many of us have endured much more than we had anticipated, let's hope that you are right and the real market starts to move.

Good luck to everyone.

Most of my VR+keyword/keywords have gone from 10 type ins/month to 20 type ins. Not that great, but 100% increase over past 6 months.

I don't think it's a Virtual Reality related sale looking at the site, great sale though none the less.

Ps:- Does anyone use LinkedIn for domains? I've just joined earlier and have zero connections right now and trying to figure it all out, anyone have any pointers/fancy adding, know some good VR/AR tech groups to join that would be great.

You should get in touch with this guy.

He’s the co chair of the VRAR association blockchain committee.

Yeah I know, I approached them as they owned the hyphenated version.

I used LinkedIn all the time for outbound, I started a LinkedIn page for my VRContent.com and put up a small news site and the LinkedIn page now has almost 30,000 followers, mainly VR individuals and companies. I have started doing social media advertising and marketing for companies now who want some exposure for products, services, expos, events etc, in particular for VR startups. Also started doing it for drones, robotics, blockchain and a few other industries now to try and expand it a bit.

There are heaps of VR/AR group but I find the good groups are the emerging tech and tech startups groups as well, there are 100's of them

Yeah think I've been missing out not having a profile there, have a few ideas on who to contact about one particular domain i own, just trying to figure it all out at the minute though and building up my connections.

Its the best place to find end-users as they all have their job title on their profile so you get the right decision maker. Its all I really use now apart from google searches to confirm what LinkedIn told me.👍
