Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Nice sale, buyer should be able to make a nice profit on that, if it was VRGames dot com though, would be a different story.

I agree with you on this. But did an outbound to a couple of companies recently who both expressed they preferred Keyword + VR for their branding.

Sold 6 adult VR domains to one of the companies for a nice profit. And in that was a couple of plurals.

Managed to keep the ones that begin with VR at the beginning which I was pleased about.

I had a nice offer come in last week (think deal is dead so don’t mind sharing).

Untitled.jpg

Offer was nowhere near what I’m looking for, but always good getting in serious offers like this, had offers like this in the past, but it’s the first one this kind of range for a few months.

(Please don’t type the domain on here as don’t want it showing on Google).

Nice offer, not suprised you want more though.

At least you get real offers though, had one recently through Uniregistry but the buyer hasn't paid yet:ROFL:

Google does now index the text content of images. Found that out googling a domain name and found an image containing that domain name, with nothing else there to tie it to the domain. Checked and found yes they do index text content images in general now.

yes for sure it'd be different for vrgames

it just goes to show that unless you can brand the name.. like say starVR
kw+vr will not really be that desirable.
of course there will always be some exceptions depending on buyer etc..
in the end, we don't decide value or worth.. buyers do... endusers that is.

don't forget that gamesvr probably went to reseller too.. god knows what enduser will pay for it one day

cheers

p.s. congrats on owning vrvideo... one day imo you will get a nice big 5 figure for it... maybe more .. who knows!

Thanks, yeah i am chasing more it.

Looking at the potential of VR P*rn, probably the biggest use of VR Video right now, potenital of live VR video (sporting events/concerts etc) and the potenital of volmetic VR Video, I have to chase more.

Great name, but I bet VRgames would've brought a lot more.

for sure

would imo make a new record price for a VR sale so far..

but... name like vrgames.. or even gamesvr... its no time to sell now.. too early.

Translate/com and their product just sold for $853,000. I own VRtranslate/com. Priced at $5639. Am I way high, too early or in the ballpark for a future sale?

Every now and then I hold a sale on my site to test things out. Regret  sets in when I sell domains for a lot less than I think they're worth, but I really don't mind doing that once in a while! (y)This month I put up about 75 domains. It will be very interesting to see which names sell and which don't. While I think all of them should easily sell for what I'm asking, it comes down to how much exposure the sale gets. Tourism domains have been selling well in previous months, for me anyways, so I think my posted geo domains will be the first to go. Time will tell. :xf.cool:
