Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I did some outbound mailing and got a buyer for a single VR "red" keyword domain for $750.

But this is my best vr "red" .com domain. High search volume and heavy competition in the serps. I decided to make a account at VR****.com affiliate program and send this domain and my other vr "red" domains and already seeing a lot of visitors. Selling recurring monthly memberships and generating a passive income for the future beats the instant cash price. But with the holiday and new year on the horizon it is difficult to pass this sale. I do have other income streams / networks on the internet so i know the potential / reward (down the line) of adding another income stream.

Awesome sale. I tried to buy this domain in the past, i think they wanted low 6 figures. Big believer in the potential of 'v' domains representing virtual tech (still holding a few more).

I recently sold vShopping (could represent virtual shopping) for $3500, felt i let it go cheap, but one of those where an offer is on the table and needed the money (at the time), I'm sure we've all been there.

I’ve got VCryptocurrencies and VCryptocoins was considering dropping but think I’ll be hanging onto them now.

I handregd 3 v com domains a coupe of days ago: VJapanese VBond*** and VShemale.

I am going forward with my VR domain sale for $750. Let's hope the buyer is still interested. I have some other good VR "red" domains and i think i must be not to sentimental.

Congrats mate, I know you said you needed the money but could have left lots on the table with this one.

18VR sold for over $10,000
MilfVR sold for over $8,000

I would of paid over $500 and I am a reseller.

But anyway congrats all the same. ROI is still very decent (y)

Yes it was a difficult decision for me.

But i will share some more information. I have send many outbound mails to all the big studios and a couple of vr tube sites. Did not get much response back. The $750 was a fair / discounted price and the buyer was happy to pay it. In the right hands and with the right tube script this TrannyVR domain can be a goldmine. The buyer is a expert tube owner with very high search rankings on many vr keywords. A lot of money to invest and we are heading towards the end of the fiscal year... he's got hot money to invest to pay less tax.

And i have invested a lot of money in oktober. I now have 7 different domain networks / programs i promote for passive income streams. It takes a lot of money, research, time and luck to build a big portfolio with quality type-in (valuable / money generating) domains. But yes i am happy with the $750. The invested money will create once again a great R.O.I.

Thank you for your post. I appreciate the kind words. I know you are also holding some "red' domains. I would say if you or anybody need some extra cash just do some outbound mailing.

Very slow.

I'm glad to see you again bro.
Thanks. I’ve noticed more VR stuff in the malls here in New Zealand.

I think AR will help with VR adoption

Largest gaming company in China moving to VR.

"Tencent expanding age checks; developing VR WeChat"

"Sina reports that Tencent is in the R&D stage on a virtual-reality form of WeChat. CEO Pony Ma told the World Internet Conference that the company will increase investment in frontier technologies and fundamental research."

Maybe, but i don’t see many companies branding around AR.

AR is in everyone’s life right now on a massive scale (SnapChat) yet Augmented Reality (AR) still relatively unknown.

Also if/when AR becomes glasses form i think it will have another problem in that people will call it (and may even be branded) VR.

I’m super excited on the potential of AR, but never really invested in it for this reason, way i see it is if AR isn’t marketable now even though people use it more so then VR. I think that should set a few alarm bells in how much the term ‘AR’ will be used in terms of branding in the future.
